I was born in Barnsley, UK, shaped by the grit of post-war Britain and the realities of austerity. My career began in teaching, but during the swinging ’60s I also stepped onto the stage as a theatre actress and into the spotlight as a fashion model. Writing has always been my constant companion: I penned several books in the 1970s, though it wasn’t until 2021 that I published my debut, The Adventures of Super Sleuth Sam. That release sparked a creative surge, leading to three more novels and, in 2026, an Amazon bestseller with my Cold War–era story The Accidental Spy. I am married and the proud parent of two children.
