I was born in Barnsley, UK, shaped by the grit of post-war Britain and the realities of austerity. My career began in teaching, but during the swinging ’60s I also stepped onto the stage as a theatre actress and into the spotlight as a fashion model. Writing has always been my constant companion: I penned several books in the 1970s, though it wasn’t until 2021 that I published my debut, The Adventures of Super Sleuth Sam. That release sparked a creative surge, leading to three more novels and, in 2026, an Amazon bestseller with my Cold War–era story The Accidental Spy as well as my childhood memoir "The Fruits of Victory - An Autobiography of a Childhood in Barnsley 1945–62." I am married and the proud parent of two children. I am represented by Midas Touch PR.
